I'm Ally McNair. We all age - that's a fact we can't do a thing about it. What we can do, however, is take steps towards staying healthy as we grow older. Being healthy allows us to enjoy retirement, remain mobile andmake contributions to the communities where we live. AARP NH recently conducted a statewide survey about the issues that matter most to people 50 plus -and staying healthy is one of the most important. Joining me to talk about staying healthy is Terry Johnson, director of HEAL - healthy eating and active living. Also, we have Dain LaRoche, from the University of NH. Dain studies the importance of strength and mobility in preventing falls. |

Mismanaging medications is often associated with an elderly person, who lives alone with no one to help with the complicated task of taking an assortment of prescription pills. That happens, but it's not the only scenario. Sylvio Dupuis spent a lifetime working in the health care field and was well aware about the problems of mismanaging medications. Yet -- it still happened to him. |
